‘Melting Pot’ gets us well over half way through (well near the end actually), it has what reminds me of an Against Me killer melody, but played 1000x faster (really!), then after a few more brilliant and yes worth talking about tracks, but I’m not gonna bore you with all that shit, your at the end!, your worn out and now its PIZZA time too, win win my friends.Ĭlassy pop/punk that does exactly what it says on the tin and much fucking more. ‘Bottleneck’ next up, has a riff intro to die for, ‘Gumshoes’ throws drum beats at you like bullets at a melon and features possibly the only sing a long chorus on the album (being only one chorus long, nearly).īy now you might have gotten the idea that your not going gonna need to set aside very long for this album, about the same time it takes to order and receive your pizza maybe, but worth every minute of your time and the there’s that added bonus of pizza at the end. So as reported earlier, only having a snippet of knowledge of the band and their music, one thing that immediately stands out here is a kind of classic pop/punk feel that somehow has a little more class to it than other stuff I’ve heard from them, although I would not for one second say I’m an authority on Trashed Ambulance, so don’t shoot me, unless it a paint gun (now that’s fun), there I go again rambling off into a world away from this great album, yes I’ve probably given the game away too early again, but yes it’s pretty damn good ok. Having only a passing acquaintance with this band (a few tracks here and there, maybe an album listen that never stuck), I am happy to report that with the addition of some pretty hefty collaborators on this release, which include Robbie Morön ( The Moröns), Chris Kreuger ( Bring On The Storm), Alex Goldfarb ( Debt Neglector) and Émilie Plamondon, I’m fully on track now to give them the time and ears they deserve. Anyway I move on and forwards, with a feeling of hope that I can explain my last paragraph in some kind of coherent detail, or not as is normally the case.

Trashed Ambulance have certainly moved on since their debut album ‘Blurry Thoughts’ back in 2016, this latest offering ‘Future Considerations’ might have a title that bears in mind that getting older can, warp, slow or even blow your heady younger days right out of the water, or is that just myself ponder old age, after all these guys have too many years on myself than I care to count.
